Do you still have that review section on your website? I had a look and couldn’t see it.
I want to turn a thin stretch of my house (low-cut wall next to a hallway) into an indoor greenhouse, with a skylight above, leading light down into it. Not sure where I want to start though. So I just bought plants.
I just brought home a bunch of chonks and a few anthuriums and I’m so scared I’m going to kill this waroc before I get a greenhouse set up 😞
This is the exact one I have and for the price it’s everything I could ask for! All the humidity issues have been taken care of and my plants are thriving 🙂
when you put it together, you really have to push the bars in the holders. i bought the same one. and really had to push them in.
High humidity plant struggles are sooo relatable 🙈 I will most likely invest in that IKEA cabinet you were talking about, I just love the look of them so much and my plants will hopefully love it too 😍 Love your review of this cheap one you bought, definitely worth it to try it out for humidity loving plants or if you need to acclimate plants from shipping or nurse them back to health 👍🏻
I have this greenhouse and it was easy to put together. It’s been useful and great for my plant rehabs. You need to use a mallet to secure the poles into the slots. It holds a lot of plants and my humidifier and fan for circulation.
Way to go
I bought the exact same greenhouse from Amazon. You got a good deal. I paid more like 38 for mine. Boo. 😩
Great quarantine structure and you can snip out a hole on one side of the shelf for when you need a spot for taller plants 🤗
i also have one😂its ugly but my plants love it…so I just decided to put it in my walk in closet with a sunroof for nobody to see except me and my husband😌I don’t have any structural problem with it though because I’m just so OC maybe I hammered them nice and tight when I assembled them…
Such a helpful vid! What cocoa mat did you use?
I took out the bottom or top shelve for taller plants.
How did u put the lights? The one i bought is similar to urs but the plastic cover is way to big..
I have been using this one for the last couple of years. I keep my orchids there until blooming season.
Ohh!! This just gave me an idea to convert my curio cabinet to a greenhouse!! 🙌🏼 Just gotta waterproof the wood and repaint. Thanks for the inspo!
Hi Becca! Do you have an update since this video?
Maybe tying zip ties, twine, or rope around the entire outside along the perimeter of each shelf might help secure the rods to the shelves
This video cracked up. I feel your struggle of a tiny place, lots of plants and a hatred of assembly required anything
I’m thinking of making one out of pvc pipes withe set screws at the joints.
OMG!! This entire time I’ve been like hold on why does she look so familiar or wait I’ve seen that top before! And I JUST realized that I have followed your sewing insta for a while 🤣🤣🤣
You 100% should have more subscribers
Where do you get your containers? I like how much drainage those clear ones have
Wait!? Do you love tahini too?? It’s my favorite!
watch some videos on propagating plants from cuttings. You will understand it better
I learned a lot from you tube
Zip tie the frame together. Easy to ship off when you want to take it down
Hi Becca! I was just wondering if you use a fan or anything for the aeration of the greenhouse?
You are soo beutiful..
Can you do an update so we can see if your plants perked up?
I have the same house!! They are some longer sticks and some shorter ones for 2 to 3 inch I believe!! Check if you don’t place it wrong !! Lol🤣 when I was putting it together I didn’t it twice!! Because I didn’t realize that!!
Wow you complain so much about the stupidest things
Mine tore to shreds in the wind… 😞
I was wondering if you can help me out. I’m a new gardner and I just got my greenhouse. What temp should I have set at indoors? Also, where did u get ur temperature device? I love watching your videos!!
current price ( may 2021) the greenhouse is about 70
Hi Becca, hope you’re safe and well!! Came back to your video because I was looking for diy insulating of indoor greenhouses lol. I completely forgot about the rug type mats for warmth!! Are you still using this greenhouse or did you ever get
that GORGEOUS credenza which I always wanted but completely forgot about and ended up getting this greenhouse lol? And YES, the zippers are annoying lol!! Have a blessed day Becca!!💖🤗🙏🏼🙏🏼
This was so helpful!! Do you mind if I ask where you got the mat on the top shelf?
Just found this and it made me subscribe! So glad I found your channel thank you💗
I love you 😘😘😘😍😍
Use zip ties to make it more sturdy
special light or any light?
DIY suggestion. Yes, with this you will lose some portability: go to big box store and buy the study metal racks. Buy sheet plastic. Cut to fit sides. Hang from the sides with shower curtain hooks/clips or even binder clips. Cut a piece to fit the top. Now you have something larger and sturdier and works the same way to keep plant humidity up. It does not have to be sealed at every seam to keep humidity in. As a matter of fact, some air flow is good to keep mold/mildew at bay.
Watch the begonia carefully for fungus. Stagnant air is the kiss of death to them.
Hi Becca, I just started watching your videos and I think your Leo is adorable! What kind of dog is he?
I have the bigger walk in model. I used zipties. Had it for probably 4-5 seasons and it is still functional.
with your raffa defora cut all the leaves in half and only leave one leaf whole. Your plant will then produce more roots to sustain itself. All the nutrients are going into the leaf and not enough roots to keep it alive
Try Facebook marketplace first SO many glass cabinets
Great, just get a small fan to keep the air circulating, good job. Don’t feel bad it happens you will have casualties.
I would love an update, and a review of the ikea greenhouse once you get it!! PLEASE!!
You could sure up the poles and keep it up permanently … I purchased one and that’s my plan. Good luck
Would u be able to recommend a green house for an apartment? I have Celery, tomato, pepper
Use liquid nails from the hardware store to secure it!
