How To Grow MILLIONS of Plants a Year: Plant Nursery Tour
How To Grow MILLIONS of Plants a Year: Plant Nursery Tour
Okay, this was insane. My mind was totally blown on this tour of the Plants by Post nursery up in San Jose, CA. They grow over 80 million plants per year: cyclamen, vinca, geraniums, herbs, flowers, you name it – they grow it.
In this plant tour, I take you from START to FINISH, all the way from seed starting to the loading dock where orders go out. You’ll see incredible seed starting, transplanting, and pot-making machines.

Really awesome nursery operations, amazing, thanks for sharing with us! May we know the name and address of this nursery please?
So cool, pls more videos like this
That was freakin amazing! thanks.
The propagating was insane. A great tour, and thank you so much!
Very fruitful talk which is educative. Angelo Borges.philadelphia.
This was great! I’m also very jealous of the automatic transplanter!
Thank you for the tour of this huge operation. It is amazing to see how big this place was.
Thank you for this educational tour. Very helpful. Thank you 🙏🏼 ❤️
No way!! I used to live down that area for some years of my childhood! Smack down on Campbell by all the malls and a middle school, I used to complain to myself about looking out the window and seeing only shopping plazas and not some like “nature” or something 😂
Guess I was just living in the wrong area lmao
Now recently gardening has become a huge part of my life and I’ve been binge watching your videos so for you to find places in SJ I’ve never seen or heard of before is astounding! That’s absolutely amazing. Truly thank you for these videos you help others in ways you may never think! 💚💜❤️🥭 c:
Hmmm, small scale humidity chamber should be easy to build.
amazing😮
great.how many staff working in this plant?
Thank you for showing us. So beautiful 😍
Very informative! I really enjoy your discussions with fellow growers. Sharing hard won knowledge is an act of generosity. Thank you.
Great Tour! Thank You! 😀
Thank you for these tours, I dream of this, let’s make it happen, one plant at a Time, out the door, one single seed at a time!!
Cool bro!
That’s environmentally unconscious at its best: monocultures in heated conservatories.
I prefer buying wild plants from specialised small local nurseries. There is no point in growing what-ever supermarket geraniums from an industrial producer. New gardens are about climate change, genetic diversity from (GSM free!) seeds and not cuttings (!). It is all about biodiversity .
Amazing tour. Thank you!
How do they control pests?
i miss your tours, i hope to see more in future
Wow. Thanks for this video. I have never seen so many seedlings. Just wow.

Wow it was amazing!
What’s the name of the nursery?
Would love to see a large scale tree grafting facility
wow!
Very nice 🇵🇰👃👌❤
Serious gardeners don’t buy plants in bloom! Big box store marketing has brainwashed people into thinking blooming plants are the best choice, when it’s completely opposite. Also, there are massive amounts of plant growth regulators sprayed on them. Do you think a 3" blooming vinca is natural?
Wow! Very informative tour. I never imagined that this is how the garden center plants start out. Is this place hiring? I’ll move.
Amazing plant tour 👏👏👏 learn a lot from this video 😊
Machines aren’t needed for growing
Love the tour! Very informative and fascinating!
