Glad to meet you
I live in GA too. I’ve never tried Patty Pan squash, I’ll have to try growing it. Do you have a good recipe for them? Enjoyed your video. Your daughter is adorable.
Georgia in the house!!! Good to see my people having fun in the garden!
Quite the garden you have going there. Just a heads up on the squash plants and also cucumbers are heavy feeders so adding some manure or good compost around the plant helps the production. The okra gets attacked by aphids so maybe some netting or some deterrent plants might help.
Thank you so much for this video! We have so much in common! A daughter, locs, healthcare field and I specifically would like to move to GA for a new start. Would you be able to suggest any areas that are about 1 hour away from the Atlanta area that would allow me to garden? I love newer built homes but I am trying to stay away from HOA’s since their list of disapproaving activities often include gardening, smh.
Hey Nikki… question.
I am also in GA, 7b and we will be starting our garden soon. However, we are contemplating raised beds because of the heavy clay soil here. 😳
Did you amend your soil before planting? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks☺️
Is there cold?
Nice harvest and garden. New subbie here!
This video was so refreshing!!! OMG!! All this beautiful melanin gardening in GA… this is inspirational! ❤️❤️
Hello great video. Your garden looks great.
I live in Lawrenceville Georgia We did our garden for the first time last year and only got a few peppers. What are you putting in your soil and when do you start?
About to wreck my car being extra excited about the zucchini 😂😂
This is too precious! I live in Hiram, Ga and I also have a garden. It’s humble, but quite prosperous.
Your garden is beautiful!
You don’t ever have any problems with the vine bores on your squash plants? We always have problems growing them.
I’m in Pennsylvania 6b . Come on spring 🌸❤️
I am in North GA. Enjoyed your garden tour. Please post more.
Beautiful!
🤎 All This!! #GOALS
Any problems with feral hogs there?

Lovely garden! Your plants are looking good. Your helper is also enjoying 😊
Subscribed by the way. Also a Georgia gardener. We don’t own our own house yet and covid has everything messed up. So we are staying with my parents which is cool because I get to garden here again. Can’t wait to create an awesome food forest in my yard one day. When I get big I’ll create a YouTube for it. 🙃
HI Nikki, I am in South Alabama not far from you and also a working mother with a small garden. Your videos are so encouraging! Keep up the good work mama:.)
I’m melting. I am a puddle. Both of y’all are so precious and I’m so excited for my garden now 😭😭😭💕
You are such a sweet, Mom! I love how you speak to your daughter. Love this video.

Chicks love to be feed doodlebugs one at a time from the palm of your hand.
Hey neighbor glad I found your channel
So glad I found your channel ❤️, I am in zone 7a in Alabama so it’s nice to find other growers near my zone.
Nice job ladies!
I love your garden!!! Your plants look so healthy! What do you do to keep pests at bay? I’m trying to use organic-friendly stuff like Bt spray, and diatomaceous earth, but still having issues. I also love your tunnels btw! I see people using cattle panels, but they are too big and heavy for me to do alone (single girl, no pickup truck!) I do have a roll of this type of fence though, and some little posts. Maybe I can use that! And of course you have such a great helper! 🙂 Hi from Zone 8b in AL!
Your garden is beautiful. I am trying to grow my own garden as well but not sure how to amend the soil. What do you use to start your garden and what to use as a soil amendment. Please help.
Saves your back to have a little one getting bottom fruit.
Good morning, My Friend. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.😊😊🇨🇦
Wow I’m so happy to find another gardener in zone 7b. Going to subscribe thanks!! And your daughter is sooo cute!!! I’m a beginner gardener, started tomatoe seeds and cilantro seeds indoors about to take them outside today. I have a toddler too so now I see it’ll be exciting to harvest with her. I have never harvesting anything last year was a fail with all my plants lol
Your garden is beautiful! Your daughter is so pretty and helpful. Nice to see you two out in the garden. ❤️
I wish you posted more regularly, my daughters love watching your daughter!!
Im so ready for spring
You are a kind mother. Your daughter will treasure these memories, and the garden is really growing well.
I remember picking peas with my mema on 23rd street in Mineral Wells, Texas when I was this little girl’s age. We picked along the fence until it got dark & mema sent me into the house.
