Was there an update for this video?

  2. Allyson H on August 14, 2021 at 11:35 pm

Laura no longer runs drip in a circle like this. She found it is best to do it in a grid

  3. Judy Ingram on August 14, 2021 at 11:35 pm

So is that water-hose in the ground being used to irrigate?

  5. shirley lou on August 14, 2021 at 11:36 pm

Thank you for your garden ideas. Your videos are very inspirational and informative. Your explanations are clear and detailed. Keep up the good work.

A ginger cat named Russell 🙀

  7. Adrian Kap on August 14, 2021 at 11:40 pm

Love it with the mulch color! Because I’m lazy I use compost as the mulch though. I don’t have to pull it back to plant. And just add on top as it sinks. I don’t get the amazing color choices but that’s ok. I’m just a one and done kind of person because I’m old. Your’s looks beautiful Laura!

  8. Terry Walkenhorst on August 14, 2021 at 11:42 pm

I love your Russell. Such a ham. Best tutorial I’ve ever heard about clematis. Short sweet and succinct explanation. Clematis demystified. 👏👏👏. If that is a Fiskars rake they will replace at no cost. Love Fiskars products especially the new ones (to me) you’ve introduced me to. (❤️ my new shrub rake and kangaroo bag!!!). I do ❤️ love my Felco 2 best of pruners. Another find (and Christmas gift) thanks to your great videos. Keep teaching and inspiring all of us. 😊💐🪴👏

    Hello,
I am not much for planting. But my husband got me some seeds and beautiful planters. But when i was at work he Tryed to help and put all my seeds in the pots together. There are 4 different flowers and he stuck a few of each seed in each planter together. Can this be done? Out of 8 planters only one is poking through. And i have no idea what flower it is. It been a month now. Help

Hello how are you? Big fan of your video’s. Was wondering if you’d be willing to give some pointers for a small front garden in NH. I totally want to redo it.

  18. Sandra's Paper Creations on August 14, 2021 at 11:56 pm

I love to use mulch. But how do you keep the cats out from crapping in it? I struggle with this

  19. Sarah Nuttall on August 15, 2021 at 12:00 am

Love this video, I have an area in my front yard that has some bushes in it (not sure what they are, builder planted them) and then I planted some tulips, daffodills and tiger lily’s. My tiger lillies are beautiful when they bloom, but I planted them toward the back drop, wondering if I should move them and have them toward the middle and plant some of these other things in place

  23. Margaret Stafford on August 15, 2021 at 12:05 am

Quick question do you ever do where the back part of the garden is higher and slopes down out from a corner???

  24. Jami Russell on August 15, 2021 at 12:05 am

Is there an update video to show how this garden has grown up?

  25. Cindy Vinoya on August 15, 2021 at 12:06 am

Do you have an update on this bed?

  26. asky314 on August 15, 2021 at 12:07 am

I am an ultra novice gardener (my brother makes fun of me bcz I can kill an indoor spider plant). Is it necessary to have a drip watering system in a flower garden? If it is preferred, can one be attached to a sprinkler irrigation system?

  27. Cathy Lee on August 15, 2021 at 12:08 am

I just planted some new plants and I went out the next day and an animal dug them all up .Any tips how to keep those animals out I put down some crushed egg shells hopeing they wont like the feel of the sharp edges

  28. Awesome68ful on August 15, 2021 at 12:10 am

Great tips and advice. Thanks much for the inspiration. Love your videos even if I can’t apply it here, watching them is like walking in your garden. Btw, Laura is it better to remove those containers for perennial ground covers. Or better to have them inside the ground for easy management of ground plants. M in a tropical country so I don’t have to change my plants according to seasons.! Much appreciated and look forward to yr reply. 🥰

  29. Noreen Bowen on August 15, 2021 at 12:11 am

Thank you so much for this video! I have a flower bed that has been neglected for several years and want to completely revamp it. These tips will help so much in undertaking this project!! And I will definitely have to check into incorporating the clematis … I love their blooms and have never been successful in having the vine type. Hopefully I will have better luck with the bush type! Thanks again for sharing 🙂

Laura, did you know at least 2 of your "More Links" section are no longer there? Taken over by Kit.

Surprised to see you dig all the holes manually, 😹😳, where’s the helper with the auger???🤣🤣🤣

  32. Rita Scott on August 15, 2021 at 12:13 am

What do you do about grass that has grown over ?

  33. Lynne Moore on August 15, 2021 at 12:13 am

I picked begonias and impatiens for the shady spots in my garden.

  35. LoriMinnesota on August 15, 2021 at 12:16 am

I know you say not to stress about what kind of mulch, but here we cannot find anything as fine or deep brown as what you have. So what kind is it? I stick to wood chips in front of my house…it looks good and the plants seem to like it ok. But I am adding a flower garden out back and would love to know…what kind?!

  36. Alice Garcia on August 15, 2021 at 12:16 am

Even 3 years later . . . I found this video informative. I am starting a new garden bed and the advise is great. I have been watching your videos for just over a year and now going back and looking at previous videos. THANKS!
