Thank you. Really debating on buying the most expensive system or an ugly cheap system from home depot. Ugh decisions!!

I built my own grow racks, I use T5 24" fixture 4 tubes. I replace the florescent tubes with T5 LED grow light tubes, the lights seem brighter, the balast is for 8000 lumens.

Just the video I was looking for! I’m in N.E. US and I was afraid my plants wouldn’t make it through the winter if I waited to repot them. I also realize they need more sunlight than their normal resting place can provide. I’ve been moving them from area to area throughout the day to get them the light they need. They love it, but the lamp will definitely help.

What do you recommend for a small indoor lemon 🍋 plant? I was thinking of getting a Hydrofarm stand up light.

  11. Athenal0ve on August 4, 2021 at 10:27 pm

I’m glad there are ready made pulleys out there. Thx for suggesting! Been looking for easier ways to hang my new horizontal growlights.

  12. music lover on August 4, 2021 at 10:27 pm

Thank you for recommending the grow light system. I bought the Gardener’s Supply Company LED Grow Light Stand, Heavy Duty 3-Tier with Plant Trays from Amazon. Its working out quite well. We assembled it on Dec 15 and now can see new leaf growth in the succulents.

  13. LazyStray on August 4, 2021 at 10:27 pm

I feel like you could make a lot of these for a fraction of the price if you just knew more about what lighting to get. Making adjustable shelves and putting a light bulb on the top really isn’t all that complicated, and needn’t require spending hundreds of pounds on it…

    Great vid, thanks

  15. Fn Ln on August 4, 2021 at 10:30 pm

That BR30 in a clamp light was reasonable — everything else is bullmanure.

  16. SolarWinds AuroraBorealis on August 4, 2021 at 10:31 pm

II have not seen an answer to my emails from Gardener’s supply and they don’t sell bulbs to go in the clamp light fixture. Can you alleviate my concerns? I’m concerned I will not be able to find the full spectrum grow light bulb that will fit in the threaded socket. I’m also concerned that it will not be enough light for my plants. I have a succulent plant bowl that is about 16" with 5 succulents and cactus.

Why not use any of the various LED light systems for indoor plant growth?

Hi dear. I was not going to buy 3 head grow lamps again. Though with the experience of this seller and how my plants so love this brand, as it is actually yellow light and not your ordinary led 3 headed grow light. Far superior quality then the other sellers I bought from. (stronger) brighter. It is yellow and not white light. The plants love it so much better. The seller is super awesome to deal with and answers each day. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B086X388MB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have no Amazon prime. I cancelled it and it comes in 2 days super fast. Stalk up now before winter. The price keeps going up and up on these. Buy the best and forget the rest. I get nothing for this. I’m just saying. Niello seller has great 3 headed grow lights!! I like the fact you can clip to the back of a shelf and put 2 up and one down or visa versa. I have 5 of these and they work great!!

  25. Victor Vek on August 4, 2021 at 10:39 pm

    If you’re spending $650 for a 3-tier grow light shelf – you’re doing it wrong af. 🤦🏻‍♂️

  26. True Times on August 4, 2021 at 10:40 pm

Hello, I love your videos so much. I have a odd question for you. For years I had full planted fish tanks with expensive LED grow lights on top. Would I be able to use these grow lights for my potted plants in my house now that I no longer have aquariums? They are very powerful and I’d like to repurpose them if possible because they are pretty much brand new. Thank you.

  27. Pat C on August 4, 2021 at 10:42 pm

$649 for the 3 tier system. That’s HYSTERICAL!!! You could literally build one easily yourself for about $75 max.

  28. Gardening In Canada on August 4, 2021 at 10:47 pm

I honestly am in love with my newest lights they are LEDs. I’m a plant scientist and I’ve been doing lots of videos in regards to the science of lighting indoors. From how long to run your lights to distance etc. https://youtu.be/bCD4nJNkmxE

  29. Irman Ghazali on August 4, 2021 at 10:49 pm

what is the best led light for plants warm light or cool light?

  30. MAR Reborns on August 4, 2021 at 10:49 pm

So the high intensity ones r not led? Get hot?

  31. Jennifer Bolt on August 4, 2021 at 10:50 pm

I was just wondering what your thoughts are on red/blue grow lights? I just bought one for my succulents and golden pothos that I’m trying to propagate. Does red/blue LED grow lights work as well as the white lights? I thought I had done my research before buying, but now I’m questioning my decision. 😂

  32. Charisse Garcia on August 4, 2021 at 10:52 pm

Hi! I love this video and ended up getting one of the systems. Would indoor tropical plants like alocasias and philodendrons grow under JUST these grow light systems? I don’t get a lot of sunlight inside my house unfortunately

  33. radio NDSPN on August 4, 2021 at 10:52 pm

First lamp with what kind bulb?

  34. mattzx77 on August 4, 2021 at 10:53 pm

My problem with all these systems is they are good for starting seeds and grown cactus and short herbs but not much else. Also 2bulbs isnt enough light. Once again great for seedlings, sprouts etc but not much else Cant grow peepers tomatoes and the like. I ended up building a 5 foot long 5ft high light stand out of PVC pipe that holds one 8 bulb t5 refector. Also the system at the end is $900 before shipping and tax LOL. My system (which you could make with shelves) around $200 and takes literally minutes to put together and can be taken down just as fast

  35. Jason Sandoval on August 4, 2021 at 10:53 pm

You should never Touch any light 💡 bulb with your bare hands!!!

Hi i am trying to grow some culinary herbs and i am on the look for some affordable grow lights, i saw amazon has some goose neck LED lights but are they any good for culinary herbs?? Thanks

  42. Rita Lewis on August 4, 2021 at 10:59 pm

Hello I don’t know if these lamps are the same I ordered on Amazon or not.Yet they cause cancer because of the metal material they house.Read the description on them, may be may not be but it was the same style .Take care.

  43. adamfilip on August 4, 2021 at 11:00 pm

3 bulb system has 50% more light then 2 light systems.. lol

  45. Leslie Kendall on August 4, 2021 at 11:01 pm

Does Grower’s Supply have light systems to just light the entire living room? I don’t need the shelves just over-head lights for all the plants in the room.

  46. Unknown 0 on August 4, 2021 at 11:04 pm

Can I use this to grow cannabis serious question I need the herbs.

  47. Eight Pawns on August 4, 2021 at 11:04 pm

    What a sellout

  48. C G on August 4, 2021 at 11:07 pm

$600??!!!? No way! You got to be kidding me. Just buy a stackable fixture or build one out of PVC pipes. Than buy the light separate.
