10 Places in OHIO You Should NEVER Move To
Move to any of these Ohio cities and you’re gonna regret it big time!
If you’ve spent any time in Ohio as a visitor, you may have been impressed. By what I’m not sure. And from what I hear, many Ohio residents have some amount of state pride. I mean they could live in West Virginia, so it’s not the worst place in the country.
And believe it or not, there are people who are thinking about moving to Ohio, so we’re gonna talk about the places you DON’T want to live in this state if you do that. Ohio people know them by heart and can rattle them off pretty quickly. Most of these won’t be a huge shock for Ohioans. All we’re gonna do is rank them in order.
For our worst places in Ohio ranking, we’re going to be fair about things and use statistics. Things like crime rates and poverty and other measuring sticks such as quality of schools and home prices. In the end, we’ll know the undisputed loser as the worst place to live in the Buckeye State. And much of it has to do with the drugs and the decline of auto jobs. Let’s begin, shall we?

I have lived in Florida, Texas, Alaska, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. I can tell you that BY FAR the best of these states is Ohio and folks it is not even close!!! Sure, there are places in every state where it is not a great place to live, but as a state, Ohio rocks.

I’m from Elyria currently living in Tacoma, WA. We made honorable mention. One gross detail he left out is the Private Prison factor. It’s #1 in America. They capitalize greatly off the crime, drugs, and poverty. Glad I left that hell hole!!!!

Dude!? Were tf do you get your information? The east side of Dayton is definitely way better then the west.. Also There are loads and loads of jobs here in Dayton lots of manufactures along with packing warehouses etc. etc… The Westside of Dayton used to be pretty bad maybe around the late 80s and 90s but even it’s calmed way down.. And as far as the fentanyl abuse and heroin abuse goes that’s everywhere that’s even in some of the upper class communities as well! Do you wanna know some dangerous cities? why don’t you take a trip out to California! Look up slab city USA and watch some of those videos you’d be thinking Ohio is a walk in a nice park.

i live in toledo and although its getting worse crime wise, everybody that stays here loves their city and takes a lot of pride in it.
I personally live in Mansfield and yes we may have some abandoned buildings but there is a lot of history here. It’s not as bad as this guy makes it sound. We have some beautiful neighborhoods and the country land is gorgeous. No prostitutes standing on the corner and yes the drugs here are bad but it’s bad anywhere you go these days. This is sad and what keeps our cities from flourishing because it’s keeping people away that could potentially make it better.

as I have lived in Ohio since 1981… there is no good place to live in OHIO. from Cleveland to Akron and onward all are seedly little, dirty, not safe to venture forth outside after dusk, trash-filled streets, graffiti-filled homes, walls, mailboxes, cars, trains, etc…. this Republican-run state is an armpit and smells just as bad. with jobs leaving by the boatload, with homes priced way out of reach of the average person’s income. in all this time I have spent in this state I have yet to find a "nice" place to live. people dropping dead from opioids, and meth addicts lining the streets stealing anything not welded down for their next high.
